About HRCC

Experience inside the industry changes the conversation.

HRCC brings together executive HR leadership, regulated operations experience and a genuine commitment to the people building cannabis.

Founder & President

Petra Worthy

A strategic HR executive who understands that protecting the people, the operation and the license must happen together.

Petra has led people and compliance work across cultivation, manufacturing, processing, laboratory, distribution and retail environments. As the first employee and HR leader of a New Jersey cannabis operator, she built the function from the ground up, helped scale the organization beyond 150 employees and supported an operation that generated more than $60 million in its first year.

Her work has included executive advising, workforce planning, employee and labor relations, investigations, leadership coaching, recruiting, policy and SOP development, NJ CRC workforce compliance and multi-site organizational growth.

Before founding HRCC, Petra served cannabis organizations across New Jersey and Pennsylvania and built her broader career in highly regulated, fast-moving manufacturing environments.
